This 3 hour workshops is a series of rolling workshops that Guy Anderson is running at YOS. If you are new to Ashtanga Yoga and have never done any chanting or meditation then this will be perfect for you.
Those who have been attending my regular Ashtanga yoga classes will benefit the most.
Ashtanga Yoga – A detailed break-down of the breathing technique used in Ashtanga Yoga and the postures of the foundational standing sequence of postures.
Chanting – You’ll receive handouts of all 3 chants that we do with an explanation of what each one means so that you have a better understanding of them.
Meditation – We’ll end the day with a simple guided mindfulness meditation focusing on our breath. This is a great practice for anyone interested in learning meditation or looking to integrate meditation in their yoga practice.
