Ashtanga Yoga like many other forms of yoga has a specific type of breathing. The breath is a tool that we can use in our practice to calm or stimulate the mind. The sun salutations are found across many different styles of yoga and prepare the body to go deeper into the practice.
But how does the breath and the movements of the sun salutations fit together?
In this workshop we’ll explore how we can use the breath to better understand the sun salutations to create a solid foundation for the rest of the Ashtanga sequence.
This workshop is suitable for both complete beginners to yoga and those who have already been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for some time.
